Stop the ATF Gun Confiscation Database — Defend the Second Amendment!

Under Joe Biden, the ATF launched a sweeping data program that has now amassed over one billion firearm transaction records, all stored right here in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Each month, the ATF is scanning six to nine million additional records into a searchable digital database — a national gun registry in all but name.

This massive operation violates not only the Second Amendment, but also clear prohibitions by Congress against creating or maintaining any federal registry of firearms or firearm owners.

Now, Delegate S. Chris Anders (R-97) is leading the fight in Charleston to ban the ATF from creating or maintaining any such database within West Virginia — and to prohibit state or local agencies from cooperating in this unconstitutional scheme.

But make no mistake — the Trans-Republicans in Charleston, who pretend to stand for your rights while bowing to federal pressure, won’t lift a finger unless forced to.
The only way to push this legislation forward is with an overwhelming flood of petitions from liberty-loving West Virginians demanding action.

It is vital that you sign the petition below and share it with every gun owner, hunter, veteran, and patriot you know.

If West Virginia doesn’t take a stand now, the rest of America will soon fall in line behind this national gun confiscation database.

PETITION TO THE WEST VIRGINIA LEGISLATURE

Whereas, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), under Joe Biden’s direction, has amassed over one billion firearm transaction records in Martinsburg, West Virginia, and continues to scan millions more each month into a searchable digital system;

Whereas, such a centralized registry of firearms and firearm owners is expressly forbidden by both the Second Amendment and by federal law enacted by Congress;

Whereas, this unconstitutional database represents the framework for a national gun confiscation list, violating the privacy and liberty of law-abiding citizens;

Therefore, we the undersigned citizens of the State of West Virginia do hereby petition our elected representatives to:

  1. Ban any state or local agency from cooperating with or facilitating the ATF’s gun registry program within West Virginia;

  2. Affirm West Virginia’s sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment and declare our state a Second Amendment Sanctuary; and

  3. Support Delegate Chris Anders’ legislation to prevent the ATF or any federal agency from building or maintaining a gun owner list in West Virginia.

We, the citizens of West Virginia, stand united to defend our God-given and constitutional right to keep and bear arms — and we demand that our Legislature act immediately to stop this unconstitutional overreach.
